Alternative Influence
Alternative Influence

Take a look outside

Having already got themselves on the box and in the shops, Mancunian band Alternative Influence are taking it to the streets this weekend to get their new single, Take A Look Inside, out there to the masses.

The band will be busking a performance of the track twice in the streets of Manchester on Saturday 21 October, in St Ann’s Square at 2.30pm and Piccadilly Gardens 3.30pm.

The track has already received support from on Bubble Hits TV on Sky and in Top Shop stores. And if you think you know it, but haven’t seen it in either of those places, chances are you caught it down the gym, as it’s been playing on the Health Club TV Network.

Sounding like the Lightning Seeds covering Damien Dempsey songs, Alternative Influence were formed in 1998 by Lee Devenport, who says he’s not a musician himself as "I play no instrument . I hear sounds in my head and I arrange them, whether it's a riff, verse, bridge, chorus or complete song they just come to me."

Alternative Influence’s Take A Look Inside is out on Monday 30 October.
